Désiré - Guitry
Watch it again because we were talking about that. Wonderful.
Non ma file, tu n'iras pas danser - Honoré
Good french movie closer than i was expected to 'Un Conte de Noël'. Maybe it's only the beginning though - and without any comparison in the strength and all. Anyway. I like the character who decide to leave her family and ex-husband to find a way to deal with life - rather than keeping hurting her children in an indirect way. I like the sister and the brother, and Louis Garrel of course. And even the parents are a realistic picture of what it is not to love anymore but 'being use to live' with someone. Well really enjoyed the dramatic process, except the boy who's really not pleasant to see on the screen, everything matches. Mix of funny and dramatic scenes as well. Great.
Rapt - Belveaux
Watching that on the TV. Actually not that bad. About this rich and influential industrial-chief who's going to be kidnapped for two months. The relations between the family, the police, the press and his firm. When he's back everything has changed. Divorced and fired he's getting more and more isolated from the rest of the world.

Dans la maison - Honoré
Fabrice Luchini plays in it. He's delicious.
Intouchables -
Much better than expected. It is not as hypocrite as I was imagining it. I like how the differences are exposed very explicitly between those two atmospheres: the rich bourgeois and the urban excluded african community. And it's a good illustration of France's interests are, the rich selfish upper-class and the poor-immigration. Nobody cares about the 'middle class', or the poor people who aren't coming from Africa. Otherwise, very funny and realistic, like the black guy is really stupid and sometimes it is actually too much -and sometimes it is right to say that the rich bourgeois are ridiculous comparing to this more 'natural' person. Bourdieusian issue between the easy-going life of the lower-class and the formalism and work-on-apparences of the upper-class.
